Autumn/Winter ORIGEM

O R I G E M
THE NEW AW26 COLLECTION

Shot in the vast Himalayan landscapes of Ladakh, ORIGEM is a collection shaped by altitude, silence, raw earth and immense skies.

An international team of artists came together to capture a collection where the spirit of the landscape meets a contemporary vision of Origem’s design: unique, powerful, effortlessly refined.

At its heart is the art of hand block printing, an ancestral technique in which each motif is carved, placed and printed by hand.
Working with natural fibers and traditional processes, every piece carries subtle variations that make it unique. Nothing is perfectly uniform, and that is precisely where its sophisticated simplicity is.

Heritage meets innovation through delicate designs, refined silhouettes and unexpected interpretations of traditional craft.

The collection is contemporary without losing its connection to the hands, materials and knowledge behind each piece. Each garment is created with a sense of permanence: timeless rather than seasonal, distinctive rather than disposable.

Comfort is central to ORIGEM. Natural fabrics are soft against the body, breathable and tactile, designed to move naturally with you.
Lightness, warmth and softness come together to create pieces that feel almost like a second skin, cozy without weight, relaxed without losing its enduring elegance.

ORIGEM is ultimately a return to what feels essential: natural fibers, handmade processes, thoughtful design and clothing made to be lived in. Each piece carries the trace of its making and the character of the landscape that inspired it, a meeting of ancient craft and contemporary expression, created to accompany you through time.

Hand Block Printing

Woodblock printing on textiles is the process of printing patterns onto fabrics, usually of linen, cotton or silk, by means of incised wooden blocks. The drawings are hand carved into rosewood blocks which are then used as stamps to transfer the prints onto the fabrics.

It is necessary only to ink the block and bring it into firm and even contact with the cloth to achieve the desired print.

It is the earliest, simplest and slowest of all methods of textile printing. There is evidence it was practiced as early as the fifth century BC, with actual fragments found from as early as the fifteenth century in India, China and Japan.

Bamboo modal textile represents an innovative blend of nature and technology.

Derived from bamboo pulp, this fabric starts its journey with sustainably harvested bamboo plants, known for their rapid growth and minimal environmental impact.

Origem Soundscape

Zen Baboon brings a serene yet dynamic ambiance that resonates with the collection’s exploration of natural forms and human connections.

Through a seamless fusion of ambient electronic sounds and organic rhythms, the music mirrors the vastness of untouched landscapes, inviting listeners to wander through sonic terrains that echo the spirit of discovery embedded in the collection.
