Materials Bemberg Fiber

Bemberg, also known as cupro, has its origins in Japan, where it was developed as an innovative solution to repurpose cotton waste in the early 20th century. This sustainable material is created from the tiny, silky fibers that surround cotton seeds, a byproduct of cotton production that would otherwise go unused.

The fibers undergo a meticulous transformation process, where they are dissolved and regenerated into a soft, silk-like textile. Known for its breathability, smooth texture, and elegant drape, Bemberg became a popular choice for linings and lightweight garments. It is celebrated not only for its luxurious feel but also for its eco-friendly nature, representing a harmonious blend of waste reduction and refined craftsmanship.
